52-year-old Saint Jovite Youngblood of Manor, Texas, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for a multi-million dollar fraud operation in which he pretended to be a decorated Delta Force veteran but was not.

Out of more than $12.7 million, Youngblood deceived at least 32 victims, creating false threats from imaginary Mexican drug gangs and offering promised safety in return for money. To win victims' confidence, Youngblood allegedly used his fictitious military credentials—including claims of participating in the Army Delta Force and the 82nd Airborne Division—as proof.

In one case, Youngblood persuaded a victim that a gang intended to kill the guy and his son. He insisted on money for their safety and presented the payment as both protection and a profitable investment prospect. Youngblood promised victims significant returns on their money, which never happened.

Authorities labeled his behavior "calculated manipulation," using financial advantage derived from fear. Youngblood's sentencing emphasizes the gravity of his offenses and acts as a warning against dishonest methods using fear and trust.
