Administered by the Department of Defense, MyCAA aims to enhance employment opportunities and career portability for spouses who often face challenges due to frequent relocations.

Eligibility and benefits:

  • Eligible Spouses: Those married to active duty service members in pay grades E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2, and O-1 to O-2.
  • Covered Expenses: Tuition costs for education and training programs offered by approved institutions, including distance learning options.
  • Career Fields: Supports a wide range of careers such as healthcare, education, trades, and business administration, focusing on high-demand, portable occupations.

Program features:

  • Online Portal: Easy application and account management through the MyCAA website.
  • Education and Training Plans: Development of personalized plans with the assistance of career coaches to align education with career goals.
  • Additional Resources: Access to career counseling, job search assistance, and connections to the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP).
